Show your patriotism by joining us at the annual Patriot Run in Olathe! The day is to honor first responders and those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Nexus will be set up to spread the love of Christ to all who are at that race! Join us at our Nexus spot or register to race with other Nexus peeps for the Patriots' Run 5K at 6:30p! Tonight Back to School Prayer Night at 7PM! To say we are excited is an understatement! Tonight is going to be truly amazing! Grab anyone you know and get to Nexus Church you don’t wanna miss it! “Let all you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14

Only one more day and we are so excited to announce that this coming Tuesday night will be a powerful time of prayer with ALL of our kids! We will be setting up a variety of stations in the lobby of the church that will each represent a different prayer and declaration in which they will speak over themselves and their upcoming school year! Declarations such as: I am supernaturally protected by God. My friendships are blessed by God. The favor of God surrounds me like a shield! I am an overcomer! I am growing in wisdom and stature. My teachers are for me, and not against me. I have the mind of Christ! As you take part in this activity with your child you will actually be writing and creating your child’s future by coming into agreement with God’s Word and activating the promises of God in their life! “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭NIV‬‬
